SUBLIME 2011

Gentlemen,

The wheels are in motion for Sublime’s 2011 campaign. The 2011 Sublime leadership group of John Damiani, Kendall Thorn, Jason Carr, Peter Eley and myself were selected amongst senior players and will be taking a new direction for the team in order to maximise our chances of success in the coming year and beyond. This leadership structure will foster better communication between teammates and this group will in consultation with other senior players set the onfield and off field direction of the club. In addition to this the leadership group will be seeking to engage players to identify any issues, ideas, strategies to further maximise the ability of every player on Sublime. It is hoped that this new leadership structure will lead to a new culture of collaboration between every member of Sublime as we all strive to challenge each other to be better players. Please feel free to approach members of the leadership group regarding any ideas or questions you have.

We discussed objectives for the club and strategies to implement these objectives including identifying lessons learnt and new opportunities and skills we have as a team. In brief here is a summary ….

1. To be a semifinalist team, and selecting the strongest team possible.
2. To be a fun team where you enjoy play and get to know your team mates.
3. To be a positive team to develop individual and team skills.
4. To develop leadership and strategies for 2012.
