Sublime Selection Dates and Registration Announced!

Tryouts for Sublime in 2009 will be taking place beginning on Sunday 7th December. The location is still subject to change, but the tentative schedule is:

December 7th, 2008 - Tryout 1 (Open): 9:00am until 12:00pm, Beatty Park. Everyone is welcome - Selectors and team leaders will be present.

January 11th, 2009 - Tryout 2 (Invite): 9:00am until 12.00pm, Beatty Park. Selectors will contact you and a club payment will be required.

Note: If you can not make some of these dates/times, send us a separate e-mail. We prefer that people attend all tryouts, but we understand that is not always possible. We want to see you at AUC 2009 and believe in helping you to get on a team.

Sublime Pre-season Training

Sublime Pre-season Training will commence from 9 Nov 08.
Who: Anyone who is keen!
When: Sunday Mornings 9.30am-11.00am
Where: Beatty Park, North Perth (cnr Vincent St and Loftus St)
What: Some skills, drills, scrimmaging and socialising at Poppies
Why: To improve your game and hit the ground running in 2009.
Bring: Cleats/Boots, Water, a black and a white shirt.

2009 Canberra Invitational

Fyswick will be hosting an elite warm up tournament on the weekend 28/1 March. Sublime is hoping to field a team at this tournament as it will be a valuable hitout in the lead up to Nationals with the top eight teams in the country likely to attend. More details to follow ...... and yes Canberra is a hole .......... but they do get their act together when it comes to Ultimate and it will be summer, which means a 20% chance of good weather.

Selectors Announced!

Hi All,

Sublime has now confirmed it's three selectors for the 2009 campaign with James Eley, Paul Staples and Ken Summers receiving the honours.

They will now formulate a selection process. Watch this space for more details soon.

Getting a meeting together for people interested in the direction of Sublime for 2009. This is an open meeting to anyone interested and will be limted to a short time frame to achieve some set outcomes. 15th October 2008, 8.30pm, UWA SportsPark.

1. Formalising the Club (10 mins)
- Do we need/want to do it?
- Adopting a constitution

2. Fielding Two Men's teams (10 mins)
- Does the club want two mens teams? Can it support two mens teams?

3. Appoint Three Person Selection Committee (10 mins)
